Cover Your Ass
and
SAVE an Ass

A portion of every purchase of the CYA book is donated to the Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue so that they can continue to save and serve abused, trafficked, and endangered donkeys throughout the United States! Know your purchase will go to covering more than your own ass!

When I started writing this book, I had a simple thought: teach everyone the basics of CYA so I could rescue them from potential business problems, conflicts, and even lawsuits. The more I thought about helping those in business the more I began to also think about other ways I could help. How could I rescue others? It was at that moment when I wondered, “Can I help donkeys in some way? Is it possible to CYA and an actual A?” So, I looked and found that there were, and are, donkey rescues across the US. As I researched, I fell in love with one in particular - The Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue.

About Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue

The Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue (PVDR) was founded in Northern Los Angeles County in December of 2000 by Mark and Amy Meyers. Their initial intent was to help donkeys within their own community. After purchasing their first donkey - Izzy - they soon found that there were donkeys across the nation that needed help. Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue was founded on the need that Mark and Amy saw.

PVDR is headquartered in San Angelo, Texas, on a 172 acre rescue and rehabilitation facility, but they also have a similar facility in Scenic, Arizona, and another one in Concord, Virginia. With a network of 16 truck and trailer teams, and 50 employees, Peaceful Valley can respond to emergencies anywhere in the lower 48 states within 24 hours.

Peaceful Valley rescues between 650-1,000 donkeys each year. And their Adoption Program ensures the saved donkeys find a true home. Stretching from coast to coast, PVDR now has 35 Adoption Program Satellite Centers across the nation.
